Card Challenge Walkthrough

First Requirement: 3 spells purchased – Any spells will do! But you might want to start with a pacifist or antagonist alignment.
From the third level on, you’ll be able to buy stuff - sweet! However, things are pretty expensive and you won’t have enough money to buy anything yet. Instead, why don’t you pick your side?

Neutral - You won’t go to Heaven, you won’t go to Hell. If you choose to buy lots of neutral stuff, you’ll never get the card!

Pacifist - In my opinion, this one is better. Some items on the antagonist side don’t seem to be useful.

Antagonist - Of course, you may still choose antagonist if you want. But isn’t the power gaunglet poor, comparing it with your lovely Euthanasia?

Don’t waste all your money in the cheapest thing. Follow your alignment.

Second Requirement: 100 Absolute Alignment – Pick your side, pacifist or antagonist (both fine choices). Then use these spells to rack up 100 alignment points in either direction.
I’ll clear up something the game doesn’t explain well.

The counter at the top left marks your aligment. By using your spells and powers, you go Pacifist or Antagonist.
For example, Euthanasia level 2 needs Pacifist 80. At the moment, I have Pacifist 13, which means I can’t get it. In my opinion, this is the hardest requirement!

Third Requirement: Level 15 completed
No, not hard. But you may like some tips on killing enemies!

Peasant. He is pretty easy to kill, smash him against the floor or make him fly a few times. C’mon, you don’t need help for this one!

Parachuter. Send him flying; when he’s going down, click on his parachute to pop it. Send him flying again! He shouldn’t survive.

Thief. This guy will hide if you put your mouse near, so wait him to use his rope to kill him. He likes stealing your money, so be careful!

Hand Glider. Send him flying, and wait him to open his plane. Then smash him against the floor!

Hero. He usually won’t try to escape; he is just… tough to beat. Kill him like a normal villager.

Ninja. He’s pretty weak, but will avoid you when you want to grab him. He’s very fast, and will usually escape.

Knight. The toughest. He follows your mouse all the time, and when he gets you, he slices your fingers! Then you’ll bleed, and won’t be able to use it for a few seconds. Try to smash him against the floor several times.

Rocketeer. Oh, Flying Jetpack. You must grab him a few times on the air till he gets out of fuel. Unfortunately, that takes a while, and at the same time other villagers will escape.

If you need more information, check this great topic by Phatcat, and you'll be a Master Village Pillager.

Kongratulations!
You just won the Death Mask Card!

For the Knight, just use an ability or avoid.

IMPORTANT! do no lift houses until no one is on the screen. after level 10.

When you do more guys spawn. Until you move the first house no one spawns. If you have the area effects (cage or anvil) ready it, shoot it at the house, then lift the house. You'll get 3 "kills" right away.

Remember you can flick airplane and parachute guys sky ward, and the thiefs don't have to be taken care of right away to save time You'll start running out of time around level 16. But if you don't knock all the houses away in the first five minutes this game is managable and fun!

Nice job!

BTW the names of all the villagers can be found by watching the end of the credits ;)

Oww man, you really read the credits? :P.

Thanks for the tip. I'll change it now.

Luckily, this kind of things won't happen on Wordpress anymore :).

See you on .net, Jason.

Hey, just my two cents;

Jetpacks and Ninjas: Just needle/glove them. They're too annoying for me :)

For the knights, I found it fairly simple to get hit by the first attack and he'll keep swinging his sword. After a while, he gets tired and glows red for a second. In this time, you can grab him and throw him around (usually invincible).
Be careful though, as he will 'respawn' about three times after a good throw, so throw him again before he recovers until he gives you money.

Also, I believe Heroes vaguely follow your mouse and will try and intercept your throwing by either catching flying people or jumping in the way of your hand (what a guy). Easiest way to deal with them is to Cage or Anvil them.

I class Theives as last priority to hit. They don't try to escape and if you see one swinging along the top of the screen to your money, just give click on them once and they'll fall down.

One final thing: Everytime you throw a hut or a Stone Face, everyone in the immediate vicinity and depth level will be knocked over. Comes in handy sometimes ;)

Anyway; toodles for now. I might be commenting here more. *waves*

@venzael: Yes, I knew some of the things you said. Just that some people may find boring following a step-by-step walkthrough! Sometimes it's better to discover things by your own.

Anyway, I'm adding a link to a really useful topic on the forums, in case someone needs urgent help :P. Thanks! *waves*

I just played through to the hard badge, using antagonist. Use the power glove a lot as soon as you get it, and you'll have no problem getting the anvil. Use it when enemies are all grouped together, and the alignment part of the badge will be really easy.

I have -1300 (or so) alignment before I reached 1000 villagers killed.

Achieving the 100 point alignment before level 15 if you're going for the badge is fairly easy: simply use euthanasia whenever you can, and be sure to buy the slave cage.

Now, when you open a house, and a lot of peasants/blue guys come out, don't kill them! Simply spam click on them, and they should fall to the floor and be stunned. Do this on 3-5 guys, then drop the cage down for 9-15 allignment points.

Pillagus Maximus Badge (hard – 30 points)

It's time to make history, showing the world that it will bow down to a single ruler in Pillage the Village

50 Levels Completed – Leave no village unpillaged! .

12 aligned purchases – Unlock all 3 ranks of all 4 spells in either the pacifist or the antagonist path. This might take a while, but it's not overly difficult. New Game+ is your friend.

NEW BADGE

I know about the new badge - I'm afraid I won't be able to update the post till Monday or Tuesday.

Sorry 'bout that.
