N3wtonian anomaly

A review of N3wton

Ok, lets get right down to business....

Gameplay: 7/10. As a concept, it is interesting to say the least. A shooter that also has some puzzle elements. However, in practice, it has quite a few flaws. For one, the annoying glitch of your shots hitting against a wall and instead of bounching normally, they just start bouncing everywhere, likely because of invisible jagged edges in his walls. Also, there is the fact that your shots seem to be oddly powerful. You fire a quick shot and you bounce back maybe 3 pixels, but the enemy moves around 10. Another annoyance i the levels where you have to use your recoil to get past an enemy constantly shooting shots, because the floor is so thin any slight error in aim will send you off. He had made a level where the enemies shot before, why not make the floor that wide? Finally, the levels wear out of the puzzle aspect pretty early and the final levels are mostly luck and not forgetting to shoot far away from anywhere you could fall off. Overall the gameplay is a bit glitchy and odd, but it is interesting if you get past that.

Graphics: 6.5/10: Really nothing special at all. The enemies are bland, the portals are just one tone colored circles. The only thing that is slightly impressive is the boxes falling, and that is still not very impressive. They are not horrible to where you can't tell what is supposed to be what, but a couple hours and you could probably draw better things.

Sound: 7/10: Nothing special at all, decent music, decent sounds, nothing totally original.

Story: none.

Overall: 7 (barely)/10. It has a badge so you have to try it if you are a badge collector, but whether or not you like it is up to you. I would really like to see a newton 2, perhaps with a level editor and with it being much harder.

Newton doesn`t stand a chance.

Badge name:Applesauce Sampler
Game:N3wton
Badge goal:Complete level 4.
Type:easy(5 points)

Newton`s laws in action in this addicting little game with great code.

A few tips for this really easy badge:
-Stay away from the edges of the arena.
-On level 3 kill the top left and the bottom right bots first.
-On level 4 go next to the gray wall and push the otehr bots away.

Badge name:Malus Domestica Connoisseur
Game:N3wton
Badge goal:Complete level 25.
Type:medium(15 points)

Tips for some of the levels:
-On level 7 charge your shot before you touch the green light you need to act fast on this one.
-On level 11 you have to hit the wall on the left to hi the lever.It might take a few tries.Then when you kill a total of three bots shoot at the lever again but while your on the other side of the mechanized door.
-On level 13 the trick it to go under the bullets from the beggining of the level so as soon as the level begins go to the other platform.
-On level 21 you have to pursue a combination of portal here is the code(I will be using the clock to tell you their position):
1.In the middle of 12 and 3 o`clock.
2.On 9 o`clock.
3.One portal below 9 o`clock.
4.One portal below 3 o`clock.
5.Finnaly the portal at 12 o`clock.
-Level 25 isn`t that hard, since your being bombed from all sides and its hard to fall.First take out the turrets in the four corners and after that start pushing the other ones.

Army of Dazztruction

Ok so first of all I must say that this guide to Army of destruction is made by a Kongregate user Dazzer he put in a few good tips that you might want to use for getting the badge.

Game:Army of destruction.
Goal:Beat level 15
Type:Medium(15 points)

Enemies:

Single Infantry or Bomber – use gun. Aim for the head if possible.

Groups of Infantry and Bombers – Shotgun (2 shots are needed). Clean up with Gun as required.

Bikes – Don’t bother with anything else. Use rifle. You can get 90% of the bikes before they even fire. (10% is when they come in pairs).

Stealth – Use Rifle. A single shot works like a shotgun if you aim right. Takes a few of them out. You CAN use the Gun if you want (3 shots), but then you have trouble if they swarm you.

Mechanized Infantry – Use Lasers. If you want to mix things up, Laser them till about half, then finish them off with the Gun (6 shots). Other wise it takes 13-14 shots to take em out which means you have to reload twice.

Mammoths – There’s really nothing much else you can do here. If you have lasers, laser em. Once you run out, you have to resort to rockets and nukes which will take out a few of them at once. Just becareful, because they CAN and WILL bug out, meaning your bombs won’t have any effect.

Press the mouse button slowly and calmly till the rockets land (I believe they are meant to be laser guided or something). Else you might find nothing happens.
Tips:

If you have less then three shots remaining, clear the gun and let it reload.

Stealth Units can be easily spotted by their shadows but try to aim as close to the middle of they shadow as possible since they aren`t big like the bombers.

Only Infantry and Bombers can be shot in the head with the gun (Not sure about Stealth, but you don’t really want to use the gun for them anyway, plus it wont be easy to spot their head) also there seems to be a bug or maybe it`s intentional,Mechanized Infantry sufferes from the gun more then from the rifle.

As you can tell, the Rifle is the MOST important weapon in the game. You can’t live without it. So make every shot count, and make sure it is fully loaded every level.

Most of the time units will come in groups. I seldom saw multiple types of enemies at any one time (unless you’re slow in killing them which means you’re in trouble). So take em out quick so you can use the right weapon for the job.

Don’t let those bikes get away. You can still get money if you shoot them down.

And a few tips from me:

Money won't be a problem in the first levels but in the last few it will be vital since you will need to restore health, buy weponds and charge towers.

Be extra carefull on level 14 the less damage you take the less money will go for health.

Wepond according to usefullness:
1.Rifle
2.Laser
3.Shotgun
4.Rockets
5.Gun
6.Nuke

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

In depth walkthroughs:

(p=attack, d=down, u=up,l=left, r=right) (a spike is a attack that hits your opponent very far.)

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Jigglypuff you have to clear adventure mode with any character on any difficulty.
Strategy: Use a character that unlocks another character so you unlock two characters with one play through. Go to the other characters strategies to see who you can use and how to use them.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Young Link you must beat classic with Link on any difficulty.
Strategy: Use your arrows (p) and your Boomerang (dp) to keep your enemies at a distance and do good damage.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Shadow you must beat adventure with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles.
Strategy: Use Tails first he is the easiest, Knuckles next use boulder throw (dp) to deal loads of damage then finish with some punches, finally use Sonic use his spinning kick (lp,rp) and his spin dash (dp) in combination, his up kick (up) is a spike so once they have lots of damage use it to finish them off.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Luigi you must beat adventure with Mario on at least normal.
Strategy: use his sliding kick (rp,lp) because if you hit them twice with the same move the second hit is a spike, once they get hit away throw fire balls (p) at them until they fall.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Zero you must beat adventure with Megaman on atleast normal difficulty without getting a game over.
Strategy: Use Megamans basic shot (p) to get your enemies away, once they are away from you use his small shot (dp) to get their damage up high, once their damage is over 100% run twords them and do his electric blast (r,p l,p) to knock them out of the arena. (This attack is a Spike)
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Blue you have to clear adventure on normal with Blade.
Strategy: Use Blades slash attack (p) 3while following your opponent,eventually they will jump when they do hit them with your up slash (pu) to spike them out of the arena.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Lloyd you have to beat adventure mode after having an hour of play time. Is he worth it? Yes.
Strategy: If you are trying to unlock all the characters you will eventually play for over an hour,so their is no special strategy.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Inuyasha you have to clear adventure mode without losing a life.
Strategy: Out of all the other characters you have you will be good at one of them, so practice with that character then play adventure.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Mewtwo you have to clear adventure mode with Pikachu and Jigglypuff.
Strategy: For Jigglypuff use her roll out attack (dp) to put damage on your enemies then use her up kick (pu) to finish them off, if you hit connect with the tip of your kick it is a spike. For Pikachu use his spark move (p), then once they are past 100% damage run twords them and use headbutt (lp, rp), if you hit during the very beginning of the attack it is a spike.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock that big sword wielding dude Cloud you have to beat 100-man melee.
Strategy: Lloyd is your best character here, Stand in the middle and use Tempest (pu)
if the enemy hits the tip of his blade its a spike, if all 3 opponents are on one side of use use his sword rain move (p) the second hit out of the 3 hit move is a spike, and if there is one enemy running twords you use his Demon Fang (dp) to send them back where they came from.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Crono you must complete 3 minute melee. I suggest using Lloyd or Zero.
Strategy: No mater who you use if you stand on the top platform and keep jumping (not double jumping) your enemies will have a difficult time reaching you. If you are using Lloyd and they manage to keep to you, jump up and use his blazing falcon (dp) to send them out of there. If you are using Zero and they get up to you, if you are in the air use his spinning blade (pu) or if you are on the ground use his sword strike (dp) to get rid of them. Or if you don't like taking advantage of the A.I then you can always use Lloyd's 100-man melee strategy.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Super Sonic you must beat Classic mode on very hard with Sonic, without getting a game over.
Strategy: First give yourself 5 lives, this will be the hardest play through you have done so far so you might need them. Use Sonic's spinning kick (lp,rp) and his spin dash (dp) in combination, his up kick (up) is a spike so once they have lots of damage use it to finish them off. The hardest part will be the fight with Super Sonic, if he is standing still hit him with the spin dash (dp), once he is off the area what at the edge for him to come back them hit him with your up kick (pu) to send him back. You may have to repeat it several times but eventually he will fall.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketPhoto Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketTo unlock Mr. Incredible you have to beat classic with the original 13 characters, to unlock Naruto you have to clear adventure with the original 13 characters. Because you will be using the same characters and battle strategies these two characters have the same strategies.
Strategy: Mario:use his sliding kick (rp,lp) because if you hit them twice with the same move the second hit is a spike, once they get hit away throw fire balls (p) at them until they fall.
Sonic: use his spinning kick (lp,rp) and his spin dash (dp) in combination, his up kick (up) is a spike so once they have lots of damage use it to finish them off.
Tails: Use his gun to keep enemies at a distance (p) then hit them with Twisting puch to knock them away (dp).
Knuckles: use his boulder throw (dp) to deal loads of damage then finish with some punches.
Link: Use your arrows (p) and your Boomerang (dp) to keep your enemies at a distance and do good damage.
Zelda: Transform into Shiek, (dp) then trow her needles at her enemies to keep them at a distance, once they have a high damage percent run at them and do her puch spin combo (rp,lp hold p) to snd them flying.
Pikachu: use his spark move (p), then once they are past 100% damage run twords them and use headbutt (lp, rp), if you hit during the very beginning of the attack it is a spike.
Blade: Use Blades slash attack (p) 3while following your opponent,eventually they will jump when they do hit them with your up slash (pu) to spike them out of the arena.
Megaman: Use Megamans basic shot (p) to get your enemies away, once they are away from you use his small shot (dp) to get their damage up high, once their damage is over 100% run twords them and do his electric blast (r,p l,p) to knock them out of the arena. (This attack is a Spike)
Kirby: Ran back and forth while using Kirbies fireball move (lp,rp) then use his spinning kick (pu) which is a spike, to end the fight.
Samus: Use her power ball shot while they are far away (b) to give them lots of damage, if they get close use her morph ball roll (dp) to get them away and do good damage, when their damage is high run twords them and use your rapid shot (lp,rp) to send them flying.
Fox: Use his laser gun (p) to do some damage while they are far away from you, once they get close use his dash attack (lp,rp) to push them to the edge of the stage, if they jump hit them with your laser deflector (dp) to spike them away.
Caption Falcon: Run up to your opponent and use his falcon punch (p) to inflict some damage
then follow that up with a falcon kick (dp), then run twords them and use his charging (lp,rp) attack untill they go down.
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket To unlock Mr. Game and Watch you have to beat Target Test with every Character.
Strategy: This guy will be the last character you unlock because you need everyone to do it.
Go into stadium to just play the target test. Because time is not an issue just make sure you hit every target.
Here is alist of what characters you must do the target test with. Blue, Cloud, Crono, Zero, Young Link, Super Sonic, Shadow, Naruto, Mr. Incredible, Mewtwo, Luigi, Lloyd, and Inuyasha.

If there is anything that you think should be added this this guide tell me in the comments.
Tips for unlocking all the characters will be posted.

Just to let anyone know:

Each time a level begins, the game randomly chooses 1 out of about 5 orientations (there may be more in other levels). This means that the pathways are the same, but the colours and rotation of the board is different.

So if your level orientation is different to the one in the walkthrough, then you can just use the walkthrough as a guide. Or you could refresh and click "Continue" over and over again until the game chooses the orientation that matches the walkthrough.

Hope this helped :)

Focus on: /- TBA - /

/- TBA - /
Created by: ArmorGames
Currently rated: 3.56 avg.

Bounce from port to port as fast as you possibly can, using skill and logic. The game has 25 lovely levels, each challenging you with a time to reach the goal. Be fast but smart! This is one of my favorite games to have produced, hope you enjoy it :).

No, it’s not going To Be Announced! It’s already released! Jmtb02’s newest game is here (Yes, only one week after Dark Cut 2!). Why is it called TBA?

‘TBA doesn't stand for anything. It just started as a joke on the front page of my website, when I left the "Next Game" notice to "TBA" and people started asking me what kind of game "TBA" is. I just left it that way, and the game is being released as such!’

Let’s review it.

Gameplay
You are a small ball, flying around the sky. TBA means simplicity, because you only play with the space bar! Your objective is to get to the goal, and you’ll do it with many ball-launchers. Be careful, there are many kinds of them, including rotating and moving ones, auto-launchers and more.
TBA combines puzzles and skill, all-in-one!

Sound
Two songs to choose from, something not usual in Flash games. Atomic Trigger 3 from ZeRo-BaSs or Piano Loop from DJ Chyrz? You choose.
But if you are one of those players that mute the game and listen to their own music, that’s also possible. Right click > Mute.

Pros
Infinite lives.
Par times, beat your own records.
It saves your times, data, levels unlocked, etc. by cookies.
Don’t you like the music? Right click and change it to a Piano Loop.

Cons
No achievements
No highscores.
More levels, maybe?
No milliseconds. It’s the same getting 0:06:00 in a level that getting 0:06:99

Tips/Details:
After some seconds playing in the same level, you’ll be playing at night! The game follows the day-night cycle.
There are small questions and fun facts after each level.
Press P for pausing and see the whole level.
The game is still in front page.

Read the funny fight between Greg and jmtb02 in the comments:
Jmtb02:
I would totally implement the API/Badge stuff to this game if it worked for Flash 9. Send your complaints to Greg, he wants to hear about it.
Greg: The only things I love more than API/badge whining are comma splices, jmtb02. So thank you on both levels!
Jmtb02: I’m sorry Mr. “I am too worried about grammar to implement Flash 9” for the incorrect use of a comma. I will refer to my MLA book by Diane Hacker that I have cherished since Davis.
Greg: I’ve cherished your MOM since Davis! Maybe I should consult her again tonight for a little implementation of my “Flash 9,” as she so affectionately calls it.
Jmtb02: Hey Mr. Cheapshot, leave the mothers out of this. Besides, your poor excuse of a comeback doesn’t relay the fact that these poor innocent 13 year olds will have NO ACHIEVEMENTS OR BADGES because they have to sit around reading our silly arguments.

Greg: Your FACE is a silly argument!
Jmtb02: Your FACE is a silly argument is a silly argument!
Jmtb02: Can we be friends again plz?
Greg: Yes. I’m sorry. Let us never fight again. I love you.

Screenshots!

The game is underrated, but don’t worry about that, I’m sure you will like it ;). Enjoy!

Breaching Kongregate for a Badge

The Chosen One Zero One Badge (hard – 30 points)

Here is a video guide for the badge, using the dodge everything technique.

It's over 2000!!!! Congratulations Kongregate

Kongregate has officially gone over the 2000 games mark. This is a great milestone in Kongregate, its twice as amazing as when Kongregate had 1000 games.

The 2000th game.

Also Kongregate has the new card out but wait.. its not the color of any of the other cards, this can only mean one of two things. Its a card designed for a new type of character, Robots? I don't think robots would do it. Or its a item card that can be used universally amongst character cards.

Also some great games came out..

3D Logic 2!

Super Smash Flash!

TBA!

Dolphin Olympics!

Oh and p.s. guys.. rate based on the game, not the challenge/badge because Greg said so! Read more on this article...

Card Challenge: Breach (Plus Badge)

Serious Business Challenge

It's time to fight back against teh l33t hax0rz pwning teh innerwebs! Hone your skillz in Breach to unlock the Healing Salve card and protect the sacred Lolcats forever!

The Chosen One Zero One Badge (hard – 30 points)
Complete the first 5 levels to unlock Infinity Mode, then survive for 101 seconds in Breach

The gameplay is really quite simple. You are a "Pod" in the hard drive of a computer, trying to dodge the red and green viruses (Christmas colors? <:) to make it out alive...

Think of it as your last brain cell trying to live after you've had "One too many" for 30 years ;P

This game is controlled purely with the mouse. Drag to move, and click to fire. The game is a simple mouse avoider, but with an interesting twist - you can shoot the objects you're trying to dodge. But be careful! After you shoot them, they will dislodge and come flying at you! Shooting the barriers down is essential when there's a full wall of viruses.

The levels get harder by adding even more twists - new obstacles in each level.

Level 1: Standard green viral blocks

Level 2: Indestructible red wall blocks

Level 3: Random speed changes

Level 4: Random pauses

Level 5: Explosive orange hazard blocks

"Two other strategies to think about when you're playing this game are: - The 'dodge everything' one. Only shoot when you need to, so like if there was a full line of virus binary, or if you're trapped. The rest of the time, just dodge everything.

- The 'shoot everything' one. Shoot everything, and leave your mouse in pretty much the same space, with the occasional moving up and down to avoid flying blocks of green binary."

Thanks to sarah_briarmoss for the above quotes :) *Hugs*

The final level is what you unlock after beating Level 5... It is called 'Infinity Mode' and this is how you get the hard badge.

Warning On... Some may call this a "Cheat"... use at your own discretion.

Infinity mode is even harder than Level 5, but there is 1 simple trick/its variation which can help. A little before coming up to a wall hit "Alt" (should be beside your windows Key for windows user, or right click using your mouse... both do the same thing, and what happens is when you do that, the "Pod" is no longer controlled by your mouse, and just floats... Till you click on the other side of your obstacle, with some practice you can skip by half a page without losing any lives! Be careful though, sometimes this doesn't work, and you end up losing a life.

Warning Off... I Like to hug people in chat, Must be from those days of hugging myself in the institute...

Another useful trick to use is for when you lose a life, and you become invincible for a few seconds. During this time I suggest you get as far to the right as you can, as you don't lose any lives for going through red or green blocks while you are in your "Gray State".

In other words, use dying to its fullest and utmost advantage :D

The best way to win this game, though, is to practice. Especially practicing dodging. Use your peripheral vision at all times to see ahead, and try to work out the best way to go. Remember, when playing Breach, always look for the easiest way out! -pyrojr06 (Notice how I used someone else's joke... Irony?)

Most of all, have fun! Come into the van and you can chat with 2DArray, he is in there most of the day.

If you need specific help in any game, or challenge, just track me down and ask, I'll do my best to help you, and if I can't... I'll find someone who can! =D

~~~~Bradley
(PS thanks again to Sarah for making this Flow, You're great! :)
Badge: Gourmet Kongregate Supreme
Gourmet Kongregate Supreme Badge
Game: Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack! - Kongregate Version
Level: Hard (30 points)
Collect all 36 delicious Kongregate coins in Papa Louie: When Pizzas Attack! - Kongregate Version.
Note that this guide is by Nobiology. Thanks to him for making it! You can also read it in the forums or in this site.
Level 1-1
Coin 1 – About halfway through the level (after you pass a help sign for “Poised Walk”), hop up the wooden planks. To your left, you should see a meatwad jumping on a pillar. Kill it, then jump and glide to your left. You should see the coin in the air there.
Coin 2 – After going down the hill, past the two hopping meatwads, you should see an opening at the base of the hill. Go left into the opening and the coin will be right there.
Coin 3 – At the end of the level, at the scale, hop onto the very top. To the right, is the final coin.
Level 1-2
Coin 1 – Past the “Gliding” help board, there is a ladder. Go down it and defeat some bouncy meatwads, then get the coin in plain view.
Coin 2 – When you see a blimp, take it up, follow the path of blimps right until you come to two pizza monsters. Defeat them, then hop up on the nearby ledge. You should be able to see the coin to your left.
Coin 3 – The last coin is on top of the scale structure again, in the center.
Level 1-3
Coin 1
– After the “Boulder Bash”, defeat the pizza monster, then jump left and float to the coin in sight.
Coin 2 – When you hop on the first blimp that goes up, hit the breakable blocks and run inside to find the coin.
Coin 3 – Near the end when you see another Boulder, you should see a single coin on a pillar. Jump to the pillar then jump to the ledge to your left. The Final coin is there.
Level 2-1
Coin 1 – after killing the spear guy, you should see 2 pillars, one with coins on it. Go back left to the hill, get a running start and jump/glide to the first pillar, hop to the second and the coin will be in sight.
Coin 2 – Right after the first coin, you’ll drop down a bit. Go left and the coin is right there.
Coin 3 – After defeating the final Pizza monster, the final coin is right behind him in plain sight.
Level 2-2
Coin 1 – You may see this coin in the air after fighting the first pizza monster. You can’t reach it by jumping, so go forward and when you come to a pit with leaves, fall in. Go back to the left, killing the monster, then use the spring to bounce up to the coin.
Coin 2 – After defeating the second pizza monster, continue down and then to the right. Jump up some blocks until you see some wooden planks on the left. Jump to them, and go up the ladder to the spring. Hop up and you’ll see the coin with a spear monster.
Coin 3 – After defeating the third pizza monster, continue right. When you see two pillars, hop up to the left (you’ll see some coins on the ledge). Keep going left, and then run along the falling blocks and then hop and float. You’ll see the coin.
Level 2-3
Coin 1 – When you see the first pizza monster, you should see some falling blocks (3) just before it. Fall down, then fall down once again, then run to your left. You’ll see the coin there.
Coin 2 – After going up the ladder with the monster on it, go left. Fight the second Pizza Monster, then continue left. When you see the wooden planks, go down. The coin will be right below one.
Coin 3 – After you get the second coin, go back to where the planks were and continue left. Pass the first blimp and go up the ladder then left again. When you see an area covered by leaves, hop in the middle, and a blimp will take you up. Hop off on the wooden planks and get the small coins and the final large one as well.
Level 3-1
Coin 1
– After going up a long hill, when you see another sauce fountain, jump up two levels of it. The coin will be at the top.
Coin 2 – At the same sauce fountain, go to the bottom. The coin is right there in the middle near a bouncing meatwad.
Coin 3 – After the second coin, continue right. You’ll see a small opening where sauce runs into the wall. Duck and let the sauce carry you in the opening, and the coin is in the tunnel.
Level 3-2
Coin 1
– You should see this one as soon as you start up and to the left. To get there, go right, and hop up a few levels of the sauce fountain. Once at the top, run and glide to the left and you should be able to get it.
Coin 2 – After getting the first coin, head to the bottom of the sauce area you’re at, and go left. You should see two breakable blocks, break them and enter the area. Watch out for the rolling cheese wedge, and go left till you come to a ladder. Go up, collect the small coins and then hop off to snag the bonus coin.
Coin 3 – After defeating the third Pizza monster, destroy the block beneath him and duck to let the sauce carry you through the opening. Hop up the small wooden pegs on the wall, and then jump/glide to the left to snag the last coin.
Level 3-3
Coin 1 – Go down from where you start, and hit a block, then duck to be carried through the tunnel. Defeat the Pizza Monster then go right and bust through more breakable blocks. The coin is right there.
Coin 2 – After the first coin, turn around and go back to where you fought the Pizza monster. Continue to go down till you’re on a wooden plank near 3 monsters. Go left from here and then go up a ladder on the far left. This will lead you to the coin, hop off to claim it.
Coin 3 – After the second coin, hop up where you originally went through the sauce tunnel. Continue right till you see another sauce fountain and go up. You’ll see a Pizza monster stationary on a pillar facing away from you, hop above him, go right till you can drop down then head back left towards him. You’ll see the coin on the way.
Level 4-1
Coin 1 – After ducking through the first passage on the conveyor belt, drop down the shaft, then duck and go left through another passage. The first coin is right at the end of this belt, hop to get it.
Coin 2 – After defeating the third Pizza monster, go up and right on the conveyor belt, killing roofclimbing meatwads as they come. Next drop down, jump up on the crates to the left killing monsters as they hop. Then hop on the conveyor belt and let it carry you left to get the second coin.
Coin 3 – After getting the second coin, head downward on a rope. Defeat another Pizza Monster, and then fall down, you should see a rope, climb up it and get the last coin.
Level 4-2
Coin 1 – As soon as you start the level, jump up to the rope right above you. Climb up and get the coin.
Coin 2 – After you go through the first conveyor belts with the switches, you should see some ropes, with coins forming a pointing arrow to the right. Follow the arrow by jumping from rope to rope, and the coin will be on the ledge there.
Coin 3 – After getting the second coin, drop down and go left. Hit the switch to change the directions and let the belt take you through the passage. Keep going left, when you see a rope, jump onto the middle area to the left. Hit the switch to change the belt direction, let the belt carry you through the tunnel, then kill the 3 hopping meatwads and get your coin.
Level 4-3
Coin 1
– After defeating the first 3 Pizza Monsters and passing the scale, you’ll see a rope at the end of a belt. Climb it for the coin.
Coin 2 – After defeating the final Pizza Monster (the one along the two diagonal ledges) run to the left and get the second coin.
Halloween Challenge - Thinning the Herd
Halloween Challenge - Thinning the Herd
The village has been infested with villagers! Knock off a few heads to unlock the super-awesome Halloween edition Blood Vial card! (zomfg, halloween card)
Challenge: Score 1031 points in Headless Havoc .
Game: Headless Havoc by Void
-You are the Headless Horseman! Ride through the fields decapitating villagers!
Challenge Strategy:
Urrrr... I don't know, just keep clicking and hope for the best in decapitating heads? And stomp on others who you think you can't kill so that your Havoc Bar doesn't go down?
I did that, and I got just enough :D.
Fine. Here's some tips:
- Lay towards the back, somehow it swings more on the side that faces you ( Sp3000 )
- Try to get the victims on top of the blue circle and click. (also by Sp3000 )
- Stomp on the victims, at least it doesn't lower the Havoc Bar. (Doesn't add points.)
- Combos, combos, combos.
- Best thing to do is to keep clicking. Not only does it help you get a high clicking rate in Whatpulse, but also make sure that you actually hit something.
Kongratulations!
You have obtained the Blood Vial (Halloween Edition :o)
Happy Halloween/Ghostmas/Candy Day everyone >:D - From Sylicas
(or if you want to, Cocak Team.)
Thing-Thing Arena a Video Guide
Ok so one of my fellow writers already wrote a guide for the Hard Badge but I've got a video in case his explanation was too confusing for you.
Ok I also I have 1 Real good tip for you.
Go into practice mode then, Pull out one of the strongest guns (doesn't really matter which one as long as you can shot quickly with it). Jump behind the cashier then shot him a lot! He will pull out the Mini Vulcan and start shooting you so don't stop firing till he is dead. Once he dies pick up his gun then from that point on the mini Vulcan will appear in all other modes! Max's Log: All the beasts I have encountered (full beastiary).
OK, lets get started here! Each enemy will have its location, attacks, and best strategy to defeat if applicable! Lots of pictures! Also, the info is all by memory(I AM NOT GOING THROUGH BATTLE MODE AGAIN FOR A WHILE!) so alert me of any errors or more detailed damages or locations. All info for battle mode is on the assumption you could complete the simple simon says challenges for bonus EXP and equipment.
Common Vehus
Found at: Round 1 of battle mode
Attacks: Heal self(25)
Water shot (weak)
Ink shot (strong)
Best strategy: just kill it quickly.
Rust Vehus:
Found: Battle mode round 33
Attacks: Same as Common Vehus
Strategy: Keep your health above 110 and hit it regularly
Common Vehus larva:
Found: Battle mode round 2~4
Strategy: Hit them. They shoudl die in one hit
Attacks: ink shot, deals around 10 damage.
Rust Vehus larva:
Found: Silo, rounds 20~22 BM
Attacks: Ink shot nothing to worry about
Strategy: In game, just kill them.
Battle mode:
Keep your health up and take them down one by one.
Heal when there is one left for the next round
Lost tentacle:
Found: BM round 5~7
Attacks:
Wait
Laser: 9~15 damage
Strategy: Kill the first one in round 5. In round 6, double strike boost them and then kill them. Round 7, boost double, boost double, then kill the final one with regular attacks.
Zombie tentacle: Rounds 37~39 BM:
Attacks: Laser ~40 damage give or take 10
Strategy: Keep your health up and take them out one by one. Use specials, you level up after the group of 3.
Ghost pulse:
Found: Battle mode rounds 8~10, the cave.
Attacks: Charges you, up to 19 damage.
Strategy: Story mode, just kill them. Battle mode, cautiously kill rounds 8 and 9, and double strike round 10 while staying within a range where you can live.
Second pulse:
Found: Battle mode rounds 14~16, boss fight in the cave
Attacks: Charges at you
Strategy: In boss fight, just slash them all dead (need to be level 10~11 to have enough strength)
In battle mode, cautiously kill.
FROM NOW ON!: Unless I say otherwise, battle mode strategy is CAUTIOUSLY KILL.
Burn Pulse:
Found: Boss fight, battle mode.
Attacks: Charges at you.
Strategy: In boss fight, explode then clean up the survivors (need to be level 11 to be strong enough)
Found: Battle mode, somewhere around rounds 36~42
Attacks: Charges at you
Fairly easy battle
Skull
Found: Battle mode round 11~13, the Cave
Attacks: Hits you. If you attack and break his skull (lol?) he is stronger.
Strategy: In game attack one of the skulls, then attack it again. Repeat. Do not slash groups of 3, it could result in you getting hit 3 times for 19, which would lower your Hp a good deal.
Crane:
Found: Battle mode only, around volt pulses
Attacks: Hits you for around 30 to 40 damage. Without skull, charges you and hits 1.
Strategy: Break the skull of all of them, then dispose of them at your leisure. On the round with 3, slash then heal to max and finally kill them.
Darkling: Found on the train in the dark room and in battle mode rounds 22~25
Attacks: Slashes you, 10~33 damage
Strategy in game: Just beat em up.
Obscurity:
Found: Battle mode, forgot where
Attacks: Slashes you
Fairly easy
Glow worm:
Found: In the cave glowing area, Battle mode round 26
Attacks: Makes you unable to run away.
Does nothing
Fires a laser/beam of slime.
Strategy: In game, cautiously kill a ton of them (wail on them, level up, wail on them, etc... If you don't level up, just save and heal, and then kill em more) untill you hit level 11 or 12. In battle mode, wail on it and be careful, it hits hard but not very often.
Pumpkin worm:
Found: In silo every time you defeat all the eggs on the floor, somewhere in battle mode.
Attacks:
Do nothing
Slime that disables dodging
Orange slime beam/laser
Strategy: Wail on them in game or save your specials, really doesn't matter
Frost worm:
Found: Battle mode
Attacks:
Do nothing
Purpleish laser slime beam: decent damage
Purple goop: No dodging or running (How no running hurts you in battle mode I don't know)
Queen pumpkin:
Found: Late battle mode, bottom of the silo
Attacks: Massive beam thing: Around 70~100 damage
Strategy: Wail on it with all you have got, then keep attacking. Not that hard.
Collossal frost:
Found: battle mode battle 50
Attacks: giant purple beam 90~125 damage IIRC
Strategy: Attack with regular attacks and heal sparingly. Use herbs to heal if possible, save all supplies and MP for the super boss.
SRV220-0
Found: First boss, the glowing purple crack, and battle mode battle 27 (THIS WAS FIXED FYI!)
Attacks:
Defends itself, attacks deal around 15 less.
Static shock: Deals around 20~40 damage
Super red laser: Deals up to 80 damage. Very strong.
Strategy: Wail on it with all specials on both modes.
SRV240-1
Found: Battle mode... Somewhere
Attacks: Same as the SRV220-0, but they deal 20 or 40 more respectivly
Strategy: same as its predecessor.
Menhir:
Found: Boss on train tracks, somewhere in the 30s of battle mode.
Attacks: Hits you with toungue, 25 damage or so
shakes itself and fires a yellow sound wave: deals up to 70 damage
Strategy: In game beat the heck out of it, on battle mode you MAY want to use a boost double combo on it, if only to save on the healing items you would use.
Monolith:
Found in battle mode battle 49
Strategy: Slowly and carefully destroy it.
Attacks are the same as menhir, but they deal 30 more damage.
Order gets a little messed up here..... Sorry.
HP: 3000, ATT: 105, DEF: 30, INT: 30, SPD: 30, EXP: 2500, $: 300.
This is a rough sketch of the final boss. It is just the final boss of the story mode, but pure white.
Found: Last battle mode battle.
Attacks:
Stage 1:
Sucks life out of you, healing him the same amount. From 21 to 51 damage.
Does nothing.
Looks at you, does a cool animation, and hits you for 115 to 145 damage. Ow.
Stage 2: Assuming it is the same as the other boss, I died before I got here...
Fires a beam from the ground. Fairly weak, probably 20 ~40 damage.
Gives you a painful x ray beam thing: Should deal up to 105 damage.
Strategy: Have saved up lots of nectar, potions, and specials, and pray for a lot of dodges.
Abductor(Both above pictures)
Found: Final car of the train, around round 47 in battle mode.
Attacks: See the doodle enemy and subtract 30 or so damage from all attacks.
Strategy: On both modes wail on it. Unless of course you are horrible at the easy simon says puzzles, in which case save your specials. How you can be horrible at simon says and logically think to get that far I don't know....
Mimic:
Found: One of the treasure chests in the dark room of the train, battle mode.
Attacks:
Throws jewels at you, does around 20 damage, gives you some money after battle
Bites you: Does a ton of damage, not sure if it gives money or not.
Strategy: Do as you will, it is easy.
Sea Erstaz: A blueish green mimic, found later in battle mode, same attacks, same strategy, I would care more but I accidentally deleted the picture.
